Policy
A correction is recorded when a factual statement, citation, status label, or attribution in the Peter Files record is shown to be wrong or misleading. Corrections may be triggered by a newly located primary record, a misattributed source, a changed status, a broken source link, or a factual error.
How corrections are recorded
- A dated entry is added to the version history below.
- The affected page is updated and its review date is changed.
- Prior wording is preserved in the version history rather than silently replaced.
- Each entry names what changed and, where relevant, the citation that triggered it.

Version history
Substantive changes to the record appear here in reverse chronological order. Routine link repairs and wording polish that do not change meaning are folded into the affected pages and noted in the updates index only when they affect the record.

Bring a public citation. This project does not publish operator contact details, and every factual claim on this site should already lead back to a public source you can compare directly. Correction entries are recorded here with the citation that supports them.
